Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Scenelit.
Last updated June 24, 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Scenelit (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What Scenelit does
Scenelit is an AI tool that turns a topic you provide into a short-form video — generating a script, a voiceover, visuals (stock footage or AI-generated images/video), and a rendered video file. Where you connect a social account, Scenelit can publish videos to that account on your behalf.
3. Your account
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and meet the minimum age required by any platform you connect.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to create, publish, or distribute content that:
- is illegal, infringes others’ intellectual property, or violates anyone’s rights;
- is defamatory, harassing, hateful, deceptive, or sexually exploitative;
- impersonates a person or organisation, or spreads disinformation;
- violates the terms or policies of any platform you publish to (e.g. YouTube, TikTok, Instagram); or
- attempts to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
You are also responsible for using the underlying AI providers in line with their acceptable-use policies.
5. Your content and ownership
You retain ownership of the videos you generate with Scenelit, subject to the rights of any third-party assets included (for example, stock footage licensed via its provider). You are solely responsible for the topics you submit and for the content you generate and choose to publish, including ensuring you have the rights to use it and that it complies with applicable law and platform rules.
You grant Scenelit a limited licence to process your inputs and generated content only as needed to operate and provide the Service (for example, to render, store, and publish your videos at your direction).
6. Connected accounts and publishing
If you connect a social account, you authorise Scenelit to publish the videos you create to that account on your behalf. You remain responsible for the content published and for compliance with each platform’s terms. You can disconnect any account at any time from your Connections page, which revokes Scenelit’s ability to publish to it going forward.
7. Subscriptions, credits and billing
Scenelit offers a free tier with one-time credits and paid subscription plans (Starter, Creator, Studio). Usage consumes credits. Payments are processed by Stripe; Scenelit does not store your full card details. Paid plans renew automatically each billing period unless cancelled before renewal. Prices and credit allotments may change with notice.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or where required for security or legal reasons. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; certain provisions (e.g. ownership, disclaimers, liability) survive.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies; you are responsible for reviewing content before publishing. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or any particular outcome from publishing.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scenelit and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Scenelit against claims arising from content you generate or publish, or from your breach of these Terms or applicable law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
