Cookie Policy
How Scenelit uses cookies and similar technologies.
Last updated June 24, 2026
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We also use similar browser storage (such as local storage) for some preferences. We group these into essential and non-essential.
2. Essential cookies
Required for the Service to work — you cannot turn these off:
- Authentication & session — set by our auth provider (Supabase) to keep you signed in.
- Security — short-lived cookies used during sign-in (bot protection) and while connecting a social account (to protect the OAuth exchange).
- Your cookie choice — a cookie that remembers whether you accepted or declined non-essential cookies, so we don’t ask again.
3. Preferences
We store some interface preferences (for example, whether the sidebar is collapsed) in your browser’s local storage so the app remembers how you left it.
4. Non-essential cookies
These are optional and only set after you consent via the cookie banner. They may include product analytics that help us understand usage and improve Scenelit. We do not currently load analytics or advertising cookies; if we add them, they will only run after you accept, and this policy will be updated.
5. Managing your consent
When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept or Decline non-essential cookies; your choice is saved and can be changed by clearing the scenelit_consent cookie. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though essential cookies are needed for the Service to function.
6. Changes & contact
We may update this policy as our use of cookies changes. Questions? Email [email protected]. See also our Privacy Policy.
